Idaho Fish and Game’s\u00a0MK Nature Center<\/a>\u00a0will host evening lectures for adults each month through May 2024.\u00a0All lectures will be held at the MK Nature Center at 600 S. Walnut Street in Boise and will begin at 6:30 p.m. No registration is necessary; these events are free and open to the adult public. Jan. 17 \u2013 Outdoor Photography\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Outdoor photographer Patrick Stoll will share a wealth of tips and techniques for taking advantage of the capabilities of your digital camera. Whether you are using an adjustable camera with many functions or a smart phone, there will be something for everyone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Feb. 22 \u2013 Hunting as Conservation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Eric Keren will present the history and concept of hunting as an act of conservation. Look back in time to understand how hunting plays a key role in today\u2019s conservation landscape.<\/span><\/p>\n

March 14 \u2013 The Role of Nonprofits\u00a0in the Protection of Idaho Rivers<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Rob Tiedemann from the Boise River Enhancement Network will be explaining the efforts of nonprofits, volunteers and citizen scientists in conserving the Boise River.<\/span><\/p>\n
