The area had been in a winter storm warning only 48 hours before but the forecast hinted at a few hours of blue skies and light breezes.<a href=\"https:\/\/sbbch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_2759.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4325\" src=\"https:\/\/sbbch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_2759.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"601\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sbbch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_2759.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/sbbch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_2759-300x176.jpg 300w, https:\/\/sbbch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/IMG_2759-768x451.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a> It didn&#8217;t take long for stock to be saddled and warm hats to be found and the first of three group started up the trail.
