They seek to leave an inheritance to future generations; a legacy of responsible enjoyment of America\u2019s wild lands the way our forefathers did: by horseback.<\/p>\n<p>With that goal in mind, Back Country Horsemen of America selects an individual member each year whose numerous contributions, made over many years of dedicated membership, exemplify their mission and values. In 2012, BCHA chose Val B.
